Cups are perfectly good cups, however, the glass component can have minor imperfections. These imperfections are not cracks or weak spots but simply slight ripples or creases in the glass.

Silicone pieces can have little marks or pieces of fluff and/or dirt stuck in the material. Or they can have small indents

Unlike, our Smoothie Cup (which comes with two lids) the Middle Child comes with only ONE HOT DRINK LID. A cold drink lid (that houses a straw) can be purchased additionally and fits perfectly
The MC base, lid & bag are the same ones we use for the Smoothie Cup so they can are interchangeable
Made of Borosilicate Glass which is said to be lighter and stronger than ordinary glass but even though it's fancy, it's still glass and can break
Fully enclosed silicone base makes it non-slip, good-looking and super comfortable to carry. The base fights against mild heat, however, straight long blacks and teas will be hot to hold initially
