LUXEY RECIPES | Natural Orange Jelly Snacks
Here's an easy and quick recipe to make with the kids!
Jellos are such fun and delicious snack but if you use the store bought mixtures you can be consuming pretty nasty ingredients. But don't worry! This recipe is super easy and it only takes a few minutes to make. And we are sure the kids will love helping you squeeze the oranges and choosing their favourite moulds!
Did you know that a good quality gelatine provides 18 amino acids that are vital to the everyday functions of the body and your organs? That's why it is important to chose a gelatine powder that is 100% pure and natural, free from sugar, additives and colouring when making this recipe.
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tbsp gelatine powder
1/4 cup hot water

Heat half the orange juice with the coconut sugar in a saucepan on medium until sugar dissolves.

In a separate bowl, combine gelatine and hot water and stir until dissolved.

Stir the gelatine mixture into the hot juice, then add remaining orange juice.

Pour into moulds of your choosing and refrigerate overnight to set.
- Once they have a firmer consistency take them out of the moulds and enjoy!
