We can't even count how many requests of smoothie recipes that don't include bananas you've sent us in the last few weeks. And we are here to say that we got you! So get ready for many recipes without banana starting with this amazingly creamy peach smoothie.
A smoothie recipe with no banana and with peach as our main ingredient? Yes, please! Adding peaches to your smoothie not only makes it look and taste amazing but also brings many health benefits - it has a great amount of Vitamin C and lots of fiber!
And who says that we need bananas to make a creamy smoothie?! The combination of the coconut cream and soak cashews bring the creaminess that we all need in our smoothies. Also, by soaking cashews for at least 2-3 hours before consuming it breaks down the phytic acid and neutralises the enzymes, so the nuts can be absorbed properly.
1 1/2 cup frozen peach slices
1 tbsp soaked cashews
3/4 cup coconut cream
1/4 cup your favourite plant-based milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
Blend it all together and enjoy!
