LUXEY RECIPES | Apple, Cinnamon and Ginger Tea

Ginger tea is known for being a great tea to drink when you are sick to boost immunity - but it has so many other great health benefits! Ginger has several calming properties that may help lower your stress and tension, alleviating headaches, sore muscles and even migraine.
2 sachets black tea
4 tsp cinnamon quills
2 tsp cut ginger
1.5L spring water
2 tsp sugar (we used coconut sugar)
1 apple

Hand crush the cinnamon quills into small broken pieces.

Add black tea, cinnamon and ginger into a heat-proof jug and boil in 200ml of spring water.

Add the sugar and the remaining spring water to the tea.

Slice an apple into thin half discs and add to the tea.

Leave to infuse in the fridge for at least 6 hours.

To serve, pour through a strainer and garnish with fresh apple slices.
