Wowsers. There's been fires scattered around the states of QLD and NSW (in Australia) over the last couple of weeks and currently on the Sunny Coast it's dry and DRY and so so windy.

As I sit here with the most chapped lips I've had in years and the driest wind blowing a gale outside I can't help but think Mama Earth is really mad/sad/unbalanced/struggling which makes me even more committed to Luxey and our work. Today, I have a few things to share. 

This Thursday we have the release of our Limited Edition Colours. If there's something we've learnt along the way it's that you love you some colour in your cups! ;-) Our brighter colours have been our biggest sellers compared to our more classic colours so we thought we'd ramp this up even more with these Summery beauties.

Can you tell which iconic ice-cream we drew our inspiration from? 

You'll now notice online when purchasing your cups, is you get to opt for either "Zero Waste As Possible" or "Pretty Packaging Please". Now, we want to make it super clear that if you choose "Pretty Packaging" we ain't going to judge you, if anything we're probably going to think, 'oh, she's like us'. If there is one thing in this life that brings so much joy to both parties involved, or even to self, it's gift giving and if that involves a beautiful box then we don't think that's the worst thing #morelovebaby As you already know, we've tweaked our packaging to be even better again for the environment, so there's judgement our end however if want a bare butt-naked cup (packaging-less) without the fluff you can have that too! 



Now, you might've been thinking we'd forgotten about our Hot Drink Sleeve? Nope, not forgotten! We'd pop into our Stories a cork band we were working on. These prototypes actually turned out to be a flop for our type of cup. The cork couldn't be easily removed from the base of the cup without crumbling or breaking. So, we've returned back to the drawing board or rather, the online drawing software and will have more to report soon. 

And that's it, September Pre-orders are, as you know on route to us and our November Pre-orders are currently in production. We're running on schedule with nothing to report.
