LUXEY RECIPES | Berries and Yogurt Smoothie
A healthy, beautiful, creamy and banana free smoothie that will make your Instagram feed look amazing!
We already talked a lot about berries benefits in recipes like this one. But we've never talked about the amazing health benefits of the other main ingredient in this smoothie recipe: yogurt! Yogurt is great for snacks but also to make your smoothie creamier and more nutritious. Did you know that yogurt provides almost every nutrient that your body needs - like protein, calcium, B vitamins and minerals? Just make sure to choose the plain ones with few ingredients and no added sugar.
Instead of milk we used coconut water in this smoothie as it is an amazing and healthy milk substitute. Also, if you are a sports beverage person you can substitute them for coconut water - it's proven to be effective at refilling important fluids and electrolytes after exercise.
1 1/2 cup frozen berries
1 cup yogurt
1/2 cup coconut water
1 tbsp overnight soaked chia
1 tbsp maple or honey
1/4 tsp vanilla
Blend it all together and enjoy!
