Are you ready for all this goodness in a cup?!
Most of you may have heard of tahini as a spread, dip or salad dressing but we also love using this toasted sesame seeds paste in smoothies. This ingredient brings a nutty taste and also several health benefits as it is high in protein, fiber, copper, selenium, and phosphorus.
Another ingredient that we used in this recipe and it may seem a bit different if you are not used to supplements is collagen. Collagen is basically the glue that holds our skin, bones and muscles together. Which means that adding collagen to your smoothies will reduce wrinkles and fine lines, increase skin hydration and elasticity, and support healthy hair and nails.
1 cup wild blueberries
1 cup frozen banana
2 tbsp tahini
1/2 cup coconut cream
2 tbsp collagen (we use from Nutra Organics)
3/4 cup coconut water
Blend it all together and enjoy!
